tensions

had the social worker from the home care group here this morning. while in conversation with her, brother calls and wanted to talk about my paperwork for disability. he was annoyed about something or other. told him i could not talk at the moment he still wanted to talk and was mad that i couldn't talk a that exact moment when i called him later, saying i was involved with dad's rehab, still wasn't good.

Geezerness

for several years i have been the primary caregiver to my aging parents. Mom died in 2007 of a third and final stroke. recently dad (aka the geezer) developed pneumonia and an UTI which hospitalized him twice for almost 2 months. he got home about a week ago and brother left town to leave me to care for the geezer. brother's wife has not called to at least offer help or to see what is going on my place. the geezer doesn't hear and needs hearing aids. most of the time i am screaming at him and times he doesn't hear me.
