Finally got the geezer's meds at St Vincent's hospital. Still no reason why the meds were there rather my local CVS. Geezer's doctor said something to the effect that because the meds came from the hospital that is why. Relayed that tidbit to the pharmacy staff at St V's, they were surprised and thought that was fishy. turns out that meds were cheaper there than at the local CVS.
Next bone of contention is deals my recent "move" to a new doctor. I like my new doctor. Somehow had to get my medical records transferred to them. Itsy bitsy problem. Previous doctor retired about 2 years ago and i hadn't had a need for a new doctor til recently.
When i was in the office i signed a release form to get the records. Well no one could find them. I called the insurance company to get advice about the matter. BIG MISTAKE!!! The person i talked with had no clue. I remembered that the Geezer got a letter from our then doctor that she was retiring and all records were going to another practice. I called them with my quandary and got some results!!! I called my new doctor's office and told the gal there to try calling a particular person. Possible results!
Reason for the new doctor and trying to get my records is I am filing for disability and need to get a medical report included with the application.
